They're on vacation
It's on Carson st. And pine st1.
Getting packed very quickly. Service is good. Spanish speakers only. Good portions for your money. Very affordable. Great option for Tex mex. they have a bakery with Mexican sweet bread in another room. Very yummy. Coffee is nice and hot. Restrooms are clean. Breakfast all day on the Saturday. Closed Sunday. Only open from 6-2.
Great food and service. They don't have anything soup related until Tuesdays. Menudo on Saturday only. Tortillas are homemade. Enchiladas and puffy taco's are excellent. Quickly becoming our favorite lunch place for work
Everything is delicious. Well priced daily specials, huge burritos, and the best chips and salsa I've ever had.
Food is good and their bakery is great. Good place to get Mexican sweetbreads and they have giant donuts!
They dont serve any soups
Not good the pot/egg there was egg shells I literally bit into one and the chicharrón tasted old sorry not good but the sweet bread is amazing 5stars to the bakery and the baker not the restaurant
The chilaquiles tacos tasted and looked like they had been sitting out all day. The cheese didn't even melt.
The food is amazing. You see alot of locals gather there in the mornings. Wait staff knows you by name. But besides a off that you've got to try the apple fritters. They are hot and delicious
My wife and i got there at 1 p.m. It took us 10 mins for the waitress to come to our table and 30 mins for our order to arrive at our table. The torta bread was not the bread we usually get. The bread was not light and flaky. We will try this restaurant one more time to see if the experience is different.
Good service, good food always served hot and delicious.
Daily, inexpensive lunch specials, quick service, good comfort food.
Really good food
Servers are nice and the food is always good. My coworkers and I enjoy going here for breakfast and dinner.
Omg... I've worked around the corner for almost 4 years. You are a gem. So delicious. Thank you so much for delicious food. See you soon. Yum yum.
Such a wonderful place for breakfast in the morning. The waitresses are smiley and friendly, accommodating, and don't get my orders wrong. I can add pastries or donuts to my check with ease. They are a bilingual restaurant for those who don't speak Spanish. The place inside is clean, plenty of seating room and have amazing breakfast tacos. I love going here in the morning for their tacos and oatmeal. Definitely the most fulfilling breakfast food I've had at a restaurant in my morning after an early class, which is located just 5 minutes from my school. The establishment doesn't compromise the food quality for price. I can get a fulfilling meal for 2 for around $5. I highly recommend going here to satiate any appetite any day.
Favorite breakfast taco stop hands down! Has great breakfast taco specials, in house bakery where you can tell they make everything from scratch. Never disappointed here. Great little hidden gem!
Good tacos & delicious sweet bread
There food is extremely good.
The food was good as usual, and the sweet bread was fresh.
The service was fast and friendly. The food was amazing we had the combination plate and bacon breakfast burrito. If your looking for authentic Mexican food this is the place.
The fajita flameado is puro sabroso and their breakfast is amazing! Very reasonably priced daily specials and quality bakery as well!
I tried to order tacos over the phone and the woman with the glasses that works in the bakery is so rude I’m trying to tell her what I want. She hangs up on me and I try to call again and she hung up on me again
I haven't had good tacos in a long time. I definitely recommend this place for tacos. And I will be returning to try other things! Ben and cheese was good, also the egg ala mexicana was delicious too fresh ingredients and the eggs were perfect!
Gosh I eat out a lot..with that being said, I love La Gardinia. We used to live up the street & this was my* favorite hidden breakfast spot. Delicious and inexpensive, with a panderia in the inside.
Very tasty gastronomical cuisine-daily specials at very reasonable prices and the waitressing is very helpful & attentive. Good overall dining experience.
Love their pan dulce and their carne guisada
The bakery is good. The restaurant not so much
IT WAS GREAT .
Ordered and served in a timely manner. The potatoes were so good in the tacos. Very clean and comfortable ac leaving a great atmosphere. All staff were observed cleaning sanitizing and wearing masks and gloves. Bakery is fresh and very tasty. I appreciate being able to order food and customize it to my dietary needs can't wait to visit again.
Great place to eat, you should stop by sometime!
Great food!! Nice waitress . Love the sweet breads and cookies.
Delicious, authentic, mostly breakfast and lunch place. It’s a neighborhood restaurant, frequented by locals and lacking tourists- which makes it great!Great value for your money. First time I went, had the enchiladas poblanas and they were excellent. Second time, I had their pancake breakfast, which I also recommend. Make sure you swing by the bakery next door and grab a sweet treat!
They have the most incredible Bakery. All items are very fresh and the prices aregreat. I purchase some handmade tamales. They were also excellent. Their carne guisada tacos are to die for. Best restaurant & Bakery combined. Staff is very accommodating and friendly.
Good place to have lunch. Food is good and inexpensive. Sometimes the food is a bit greasy but good overall.
Great food at a decent price, they had excellent customer service there was barely any wait time.
Delicious tacos and gorditas. Me and my husband both got breakfast plates and coffee for only $15.
Traditional Tex-Mex food at it's finest. Cheap baked goods made fresh every morning and great service, one of the best taquerias in San Antonio.
Looove it here!! Great food and pan dulce!
Good food, nothing fancy, but really good.
Really good asada burrito!
The best authentic Mexican food in San Antonio. My favorite are the best chilaquiles, migas, enchiladas...everything is good!! They take pride in making delicious food. Homemade tortillas all the time ...plus bakery!!
Pleasant experience. I wasn't expecting much but was surprised. The bakery goods were fresh and my chile colorado taco was flavorful.
well the food was alright not worth the wait it took about 22 min to get a waitress to my table or to attend us i ordered the simplest of all plates ranchero eggs it took them another 20 min to get my order in that time i just got 1 refill of coffee the waitresses didn't even ask if you needed coffee and if u ask they simply say i be their in a min yea right on the other hand the bread was really good 3 pcs of bread 2.89$ the huevos rancheros and 2 coffees $8.87 plus 1 dollar tip the restaurant is ok??? i guess in my opinion
Amazing breakfast, if not the best easily in the top two that I have eaten in San Antonio. High quality with reasonable prices. Our go to place every Saturday morning. Too bad they are not open on Sunday.
This is a lovely local eatery and Panaderia that has been in the neighborhood for ever (since 1960's?). Old building, parking on street or across on old building site. Food is good, plates come with frijoles and papas (not rice) but they are serving smaller portions in their tacos than when we first started coming 4 years ago. If taco is fairly empty, just ask for a little more. They are happy to ablige. Servers are great and pride themselves on greeting you by name if you are a regular. In reverse, if you frequent this establishment you should take the time to remember some of their names as well, all long time employees. Also, the pastry items in Panaderia are made on site and absolutely delicious. Have to stop myself from getting too many.
Family owned restaurant with your traditional mexiacn dishes. The icing on the cake is the delicious bakery!
Not bad, the food is great and hot.
Delicious food, including some more authentic mexican food dishes (not just texmex). The bakery is always making fresh bread daily. Good stuff.
I got food poisoning from eating bean and cheese tacos from here. Day before I ate the tacos went in to buy a hamburger and fries before work. They took my order and I paid just to find out that they couldn't sale me the burger because the buns were no good. Next day I got the tacos and got sick. I even had to call into work it was that bad. So disappointed.
Food is great..but they got the best local donut shop inside. they make HUGE fresh donuts early mornings.. BRUH 😬😬💀
